America’s Heroes Group Podcast, episode 280, addresses the topic of sexual assault and harassment in the military with Stephanie Kalota, a US Army Reserve Sergeant First Class Veteran and Founder of Veteran Legislative Voice. Together, America’s Heroes Group Roundtable and Kalota discuss sexual assault and harassment in the military, along with the resources in place to help those who’ve suffered from either in our newest episode.
Kalota shares about how many don’t fully understand how the prevention of sexual assault and harassment in the military works.
“There is a lot of lack of understanding of how sexual assault prevention and sexual harassment prevention really work and how to get it working,” Kalota said. “It’s a cultural thing and it’s going to take a while for it to actually start to get moving.”
